Don Franks is a professor in health physical fitness and chair of the Department of Kinesiology at the University of Maryland. Franks is a Fellow of the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), the American Academy of Kinesiology health physical fitness and Physical Education (AAKPE), health physical fitness and the Research Consortium of the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation health physical fitness and Dance (AAHPERD).
